Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

AdsBrain (“we”, “our”, or “the app”) is a multi-platform advertising campaign management tool operated by AdsBrain SAS. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data when you use our application.

By using AdsBrain, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

2. Data We Collect

We collect only the data necessary to provide the service:

  • Account information: Your email address used to sign in to Ads Manager.
  • Meta access tokens: OAuth access tokens granted by you through the Meta (Facebook) login flow. These tokens allow the app to read and manage your Meta ad accounts on your behalf.
  • Ad account data: Ad account IDs, campaign names, performance metrics (impressions, spend, clicks, etc.), and creative assets retrieved from the Meta Ads API using your granted permissions.
  • Usage data: Basic application usage logs (e.g., page views) to help us maintain and improve the service. No personally identifiable information is included in these logs.

We do not collect payment information, precise location data, or any data beyond what is necessary to display and manage your advertising campaigns.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

  • Authenticate you and maintain your session within Ads Manager.
  • Retrieve your ad account information and performance metrics from Meta's API so they can be displayed to you in the application.
  • Execute actions you initiate within the app (e.g., updating campaign budgets or pausing campaigns) on your behalf via the Meta Ads API.
  • Store your preferences and application configuration.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose other than operating the service for you.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data or ad account data with any third parties, except in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers: We use Supabase to store your account and connection data securely. Supabase acts as a data processor and does not use your data for its own purposes.
  • Legal obligations: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Specifically:

  • Access tokens: Stored securely and retained until you disconnect your Meta account or delete your Ads Manager account.
  • Performance metrics: Historical data is retained to power performance charts. You can request deletion at any time.
  • Account data: Retained until you delete your account.

6. Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. To do so:

  • Disconnect a platform: Go to Settings → [Platform] → Disconnect inside the app to revoke access and delete your stored access token.
  • Delete your account: Email us at privacy@adsbrain.io with the subject “Delete My Account” and we will permanently delete all data associated with your account within 30 days.

If you connected AdsBrain via Facebook and want to revoke access directly through Facebook, you can do so at Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites. Revoking access there will also trigger deletion of your data in our system within 30 days.

7. Security

We take the security of your data seriously. Access tokens and sensitive data are stored using industry-standard encryption. We use row-level security (RLS) to ensure users can only access their own data. Access to the database is restricted to authorized personnel only.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Erasure: Request deletion of your data (see Section 6).
  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of Ads Manager after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
